Why what used to work
stopped working

From the mid-40s, strength becomes the priority, and it’s the thing most routines never included. If you’ve read the books and the articles, you already know lifting is the answer; the gap is knowing how to start safely, with someone watching your form rather than a video telling you to keep up. That gap is the exact thing T2FIT was built to close.

Your starting point is measured, never assumed. A 3D body scan, a movement screening and a proper conversation about your goals come before any training does. From there your coach programmes each session, watches every rep, and works around joints, old injuries and the days when energy is low. When the next scan comes round, the change is there in numbers.

Strength that pays you back every day

This isn’t training for a holiday photo. It’s carrying the shopping without thinking, gardening without paying for it the next day, and keeping the strength that makes the next few decades yours to run.

A coach runs every 50-minute session, and the app lets you book whichever times your week allows. Plenty of our members in their 40s, 50s and 60s walked in believing they’d left it too late. The scans said otherwise.

This is an investment for my life.

What changes from here

A body that feels like yours again

Coaching that respects where you are

Welcomed by name,
every session

Started later. Glad they did.

The women in these videos had the same worries: too long away, too late to start, too unsure where to begin. Watch what the first few months actually looked like.

Start with our 21-Day Trial. Your 3D body scan and movement screening come first, then 4 coached sessions a week, a progress review at the halfway point, and a personalised long-term plan at the end. 3 weeks from now you won’t have to wonder whether this works for your body; you’ll have the scan in front of you.

And if picking up the phone feels like the hard part, that’s normal here. No hard sell, no judgement, just a conversation about where you are.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Plenty of our members lifted their first barbell in their 50s or 60s, and strength responds to good training at any age. Your programme starts from your own body scan and movement screening, so day one is built for the body you bring, never the one a programme assumes.

Safety is the reason everything here is coached. Your movement screening flags what to work around before you start, your coach watches every rep and corrects form as you go, and weights progress gradually as your technique earns it. Our reviews mention safety unprompted more than almost anything else.

Because it’s a different tool. Classes give you a workout; a programme gives you progression, and from the mid-40s progressive strength work is what moves body composition. Your coach tracks your numbers from session to session, so each week builds on the last instead of starting again.

Yes. Many of our members train through exactly that stage, and our coaches programme around fluctuating energy, joints and recovery. We’ve written about our approach in full on our menopause fitness page.

Most members arrived on their own, and plenty arrived nervous. Your group is never bigger than 6, the coaches make the introductions, and the women training beside you include teachers, mums, professionals and grandmothers from Coulsdon, Purley and the towns around them. It feels like a family is the phrase our reviews keep using.
